Sunday evenings

Hi Guy's

Anybody interested in starting up sunday evening devotional services. We may have more success inviting people to these "pared down" more informal sessions. Especially single people with exciting and dynamic lifestyles. Honestly, how many times have you invited somebody and they have some excuse like "sorry mate, Sunday afternoon's all booked for my kite surfing session"?

Go on

Go on, go on, go on...

Chris

Yup, it's Chris Yates. I was thinking at the venue. To be honest I have selfish reasons for wanting to attend an evening service as an alternative. If you you know me, I'm sure you know what they are!

But it could work. Most young professionals that we reach out to have a social agenda Sunday day, whilst many work.

The concept is very informal. And will depend on one of us preparing something to share, hymns and discussion. I also believe the Sunday evening slot is a convenient one for evangelising in town and the regeneration areas in Ancoats and Cheetham Hill before the meeting.

Chris

Hi Chris et al, we have Sunday Services in the evenings at our Farm in Rainow Macclesfield 6pm quite often. At the moment with holidays etc. we are away a fair bit. From September we should be on our normal schedule. It is probably best to call us to check that we have one on before arriving.

David or I preach, mostly the visitors are teen friends of the kids so it is currently orinatated towards them. We would be happy to cater for the needs of other visitors if we have time to prepare.

I hope this helps,

Love Rick

sounds great what your doin with the teens, rick. i think chris is right about church being central to most people tho. its alot easier to invite people to come if they know where it is. Do you find this valuable?

Much appreciated Rick.

Brian and Gillian are starting something up. But it would be great to join you guys in worship. Perhaps Richard and I could come down and bolster the "Crumblies" contingent.

Cheers

Chris
